






• KCHBA Developer’s Council
The Developer’s Council is a committee which focuses on identifying and educating the development industry on emerging issues. It also focuses on streamlining all levels of permitting with local government and providing technical assistance to improve planning.
• KCHBA Government Affairs Committee
The Government Affairs Committee is responsible for the planning, supervision and efforts regarding public issues at the local, state and national levels. They develop effective plans and strategies to improve the regulatory and policy environment.



• Certified Graduate Builder – NAHB
This professional designation requires that graduates meet specific standards of practice, possess a minimum of 2 years building industry experience, have a proven record of successful project management, complete a comprehensive education curriculum and make a pledge to uphold the programs’ code of ethics. This identifies our example of professionalism and leadership in the industry.
• Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead – BIAW
With this certification, we are able to help our clients meet WA State and Department of Ecology’s Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention plans and CESCL site inspections. As of October 2006, the Dept. of Ecology requires that all sites with ground disturbance greater than one acre be inspected by a CESCL. The intention is to reduce storm water pollution to surface waters from construction sites.
• Associate in Arts Degree Interior Design – Bellevue College
This professional degree is widely focused on professional values and design fundamentals. It requires graduates demonstrate an understanding of design fundamentals, theories and concepts and how they apply to interior design. This includes the ability to apply the design process with comprehension of programming, schematics, design development skills, and to uphold the laws, codes, regulations and standards that protect the health, welfare and safety of the public.
